Visit One Of The Most Beautiful and Historic Estancias Argentina Has To Offer
Estancia El Venado

Estancia El Venado  Estancia El Venado is a Working Guest Ranch that offers guests a refuge from the outside world. Hidden in the Argentine Pampas grasslands, El Venado provides guests with a unique opportunity to experience the local Gaucho culture and to unwind in historic and beautiful surroundings.

Estancia El Venado was founded in the mid-1800's, and it has been in the family for over four generations.  The history of this Argentina Estancia is evident everywhere one looks.  The Cendoya family still lives in the original, updated Hacienda and uses the original outbuildings and barns, which were built from adobe bricks taken from the earth here over 150 years ago.

The trees in the Garden were planted when this Argentine Estancia was founded, and they are striking in their maturity and beauty.  There are Avenues of majestic Asaurinas, Platanos, and Eucalyptus throughout the Estancia; and beautiful Magnolias, Ombus, and many others living in the Garden.  They provide a home for the hundreds of birds here that sing like a chorus all day long, but are especially musical in the early morning.

For four generations the Estancia has been and continues to be a working cattle and horse breeding ranch.  Guests can ride out across the fields on Argentine "Criollo" ranch horses using traditional tack and see vistas that are little changed since the area was frontier land.

After a day of exploring the Estancia or relaxing in a hammock, we serve our guests traditional, homemade cooking.  We are very proud of our beef here on our Estancias in Argentina, and it shows in our cooking.  Guests typically dine on delicious, local beef and made from scratch pastas and desserts.  And don't forget the wine!  Argentina produces some fantastic red wines, and we enjoy serving them!  (We also accommodate special requests)

At the Guest Ranch at Estancia El Venado we gladly welcome our guests into our family.  We love to re-experience the magnificence of our home with each new visitor.
